The Trial Run

It is essential that all brides have a pre-wedding consultation. We will discuss everything from the style of your dress, colour scheme and the look you wish to create. It is a great opportunity for you to try out different styles and colours to create that perfect look for your big day.

It also ensures that you don’t have any sensitivities to the products used and that your wedding day will run smoothly with your make-up, timings and requirements arranged in advance.

I will listen to your ideas about how you would like to look on your wedding day, and offer advice on all your bridal beauty needs, considering skin type, hair, colouring and your dress. Most brides usually want to look fresh faced and natural, but if you have something different in mind please have some magazine cuttings with you to show me. If possible please have your tiara/veil or hair jewellery available so I can incorporate it into your hairstyle.

Some of my favourite products for bridal beauty are from Mac, Bobbi Brown, YSL, Chanel and Laura Mercier.

During your trial, I will photograph you to ensure your chosen style is recreated on your wedding day. You will be able to see on camera how you will look in your wedding photographs. Adjustments will be made to ensure you are completely happy.

Please allow at least three hours for your trial run. Members of your bridal party are welcome to join you at your trial. Please allow an extra hour per person requiring a trial.

Please note: Due to weekends being booked up with weddings, trials are only available on weekdays between 10-1pm or weekday evenings (on request).

The Big Day

On your wedding morning, I will come to you, wherever you are getting ready, and recreate the final look from your make-up trial. You can enjoy a relaxing, professional hair and make-up experience and be assured that you will be ready on time.

Make-up is best applied after your hair is finished, but before you get into your dress, so I will be there in plenty of time on the day. If other members of the bridal party are also having their make-up done, then I will work to a schedule in order to create a calm and relaxed environment.

My aim is to leave you feeling pampered, calm and confident and looking beautiful for one of the biggest days of your life. Lastly, I always apply waterproof mascara so that your make-up isn’t ruined in the emotion of the day!
